You'd at least think that this one out of most managers would see the value in practicing spot kicks.

Re: Southgate
Seems a humble self deprecating type.
Needs to make an early statement by binning Rooney though.

Definitely more likeable than the one who saw himself as some intellectual Pan-European wise Owl of football or the arrogant blowhard who reckoned he should be Real Madrid manager.

Re: Southgate
Let's be honest nobody decent was ever going to tarnish their reputation by taking this gig.

Most of the people I know couldn't care about the national team anymore, the manager just picks the same bog standard players. Until a new crop come through we will be winning qualifiers then out before knockouts as usual.

Understand it is 4 years at between £1.5m & £2m a year.
Should be about £500,000 & £3m for every tournament you win.

Four years of this bland fucker. Not that he'll see that out, I'd imagine.

Re: Southgate
I personally think this is the best appointment we could've hoped for at this stage. Young, ambitious and been through the FA system. We've tried every other fucker with CV's as long as a donkey's cock and won fuck all.

I mean, it's not like we are Spain or Germany is it? We need to start again and go for it from scratch.
